As I gazed up at the moon it dawned on me,
although it was surrounded by the stars it seemed all alone
made me think,
sometimes we might be overwhelmed with friends
but still feel on our own
but look how the moon
gives off a magical glow

in the darkness of the night
feels like it's caressing you
all over like a warm blanket,
if you listen you can hear
it whisper it's alright
so next time you feel all alone
and you think you are going to cry
just look up at the moon way up in the sky ...
